Accfelerate Me!
After our visit to NOAA, Sweetie and I found ourselves on the adjacent sim Second Earth 5, where we came face-to-face with a gynormous Fermilab particle accelerator. It was HUGE!
We immediately found our way inside, where we walked and walked and walked. Later we found a tour car, but the walking was more fun, even if Sweetie did get trapped on the wrong side of the supply pipe.
We love the sci lands!

Huh... That's not even supposed to be open yet! Work in progress! Guess I better check the permissions...

There's no harm in keeping the land accessible while you're building. I can say we'll probably be back, but wouldn't have if the land had been locked up. Besides, I would have seen the same stuff and pushed the same buttons from outside the sim anyway. Camera control is a wonderful thing.
