Climbing the Beanstalk

Climbing the Beanstalk

The oldest resident-generated content in Second Life happens to be a beanstalk.

And why NOT a beanstalk?

The Beanstalk, located on the ancient sim Welch, was made by Steller Sunshine in 2003. It stretches from its base at 20 meters to 111 meters.

One gets to the top by jumping carefully from leaf to leaf, tendril to tendril. And one usually DOESN'T get to the top. One usually tumbles to the ground.

Stellar has a sign at the bottom of the beanstalk announcing a 500 Linden prize to any avatar that can climb all the way to the top. I wonder if it has ever been done.

It's great fun and good for the development of jumping skills. Go try it!
