On Thursday, April 23, the humans behind the avatars Cheyenne Palisades and (the ever elusive) Sweetie tied the knot in Rockland County, New York. That's me on the right.
My sister and Sweetie's parents were in attendance and served as witnesses.
I'm now catching up, writing about what's been going on with us and why we've not been in world much.

In more than 2000 posts on this blog I have been extraordinarily careful with Sweetie's real life name and even her avatar's name (although anyone can find out the latter just by looking at my avie's profile). I am breaking with tradition just this once to let people know Second Life can be transformative of our first lives.

Fantastic news. Congratulations to you both! Although I'm a bit afraid for my safety knowing what Sweetie looks like. I thought that was a no-no. They say you never see the explosive lipstick with your name on it. :D

Congratulations to you and Sweetie. I wish you much joy and happiness. After such a difficult move, and ending up in snowmageddon, you've earned the happy ending. Now I hope we can look forward to hearing more of your adventures in SL on this blog.
I know we haven't talked in quite a bit, but I was checking my blog roll when I came across this post. I just want to tell you just how happy I am that you guys found true love. I always thought you two made a cute couple in SL. It's obvious you are even better in RL, and I am just so happy for you guys. You guys deserve it!

Thanks, everyone. Things are finally beginning to settle here (although there's a lot of work yet to do). I do log in but can't do much because I have no camera control and can't build or zoom with this darn laptop. Need to dig my desktop out and hook it up. And I will. I promise.
